1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of the docreview.be website and the review portal, offered by Accelerate Habits BV, Snapperstraat 27, 3511 Hasselt, België, VAT BE 1030.473.362. By using the portal you accept them. For organisations that integrate docreview into their own software, the terms of their agreement and data processing agreement with us apply in addition.
2. What docreview does, and does not do
docreview provides an environment in which the parties to a document can read it online, leave comments and give their approval. We are not a party to the document or to the agreements between the sender and the participants, and we do not assess the content.
An approval in the portal indicates that you have read the shared version and agree with it. It is not an electronic signature and does not replace signing; the sender organises the formal signing separately.
3. Access via a personal link
- You get access through a personal link provided by the sender. No account is needed.
- The link is strictly personal. Do not pass it on: actions taken through your link are attributed to you.
- A link expires when the sender closes or cancels the round. For a new link, contact the sender.
4. Use of the portal
You use the portal only for the purpose you were invited for. It is not permitted to post unlawful, offensive or misleading content, to circumvent security, to query the portal automatically or to distribute documents you have no right to distribute.
5. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep docreview available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Where possible we announce maintenance to the sender. We may change or discontinue the service; ongoing rounds are then completed or handed over to the sender.
6. Liability
docreview is a tool for reviewing documents. We are not liable for the content of shared documents, for the agreements between parties or for decisions taken on the basis of a review round. Our liability is in any event limited to what mandatory law prescribes and to direct damage; indirect and consequential damage is excluded.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, software and design of docreview are and remain our property. Shared documents and comments remain the property of the sender or the participant who posted them; you only grant us the right to process them to deliver the service.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
9. Applicable law
Belgian law applies to these terms. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of Limburg, Hasselt division, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
