docreview lets the parties to a document read it online, leave comments exactly where they belong and give their approval. In a neutral, secure environment, without an account: just a personal link.
Article 4.2: the notice period does not match what we agreed.
OpenThe appendix matches the site visit. Fine by me.
ResolvedYou received an e-mail with a link to docreview.be because a professional, for instance your agent or landlord, wants to go through a document with you before it becomes final. Four steps and you are done.
The invitation is sent in the name of the sender, with their logo. The link is personal: do not forward it, as anyone who opens it can respond under your name.
SharedYou open the document in your browser, without an account or installation, on computer, tablet or phone. You go through it page by page or section by section.
In reviewSomething is not right? Leave a comment exactly at the section it is about. The sender and the other parties see it immediately and can reply.
OpenWhen you are done, you give your approval. You can withdraw it for as long as the round is open. The sender then takes care of the next step, such as signing.
ApprovedThe sender shares a document and invites the parties. Each party reads, responds and approves from a personal link. The sender follows live who has read, who commented and who approved.
If the document is changed, everyone is notified and earlier approvals lapse: an approval is always an approval of the latest version.
Inspection reports, contracts, minutes, quotes: everything that several parties need to read and approve before it becomes final.
No review "in general". Every page or section has its own status, so nothing slips through unnoticed.
A comment sits exactly where it belongs. Parties reply to each other, and what is resolved is marked as resolved.
Each party approves once they are done, and can withdraw for as long as the round is open. The sender sees the status at a glance.
Who opened the document, who commented, who approved? All comments also flow back into the sender's own system.
Participants see the sender's logo and nothing else that distracts. The environment stays neutral, so every party feels comfortable in it.
When the sender uploads a revised version, all parties are notified and approvals start over. Never any discussion about which version was approved.
Today docreview runs as a white-label review layer inside partner platforms. Standalone access and a public API will follow.
Where we stand
Yes, if the sender is someone you have a file with, such as your agent, landlord or property manager. The invitation always states who is sharing the document. If in doubt, contact that sender directly before opening the link.
No. Your personal link gives you direct access to the document. There is nothing to install and no password to remember. Do keep the e-mail: the link is your access.
Your approval indicates that you have read the content and agree with it, and it can be withdrawn for as long as the round is open. It does not replace a signature: the sender organises the formal signing afterwards, based on the version everyone approved.
Your name, e-mail address and comments are only used to run the review round, on behalf of the sender. The data is processed within the EU, in line with the GDPR. We do not use it for any other purpose.
A link expires when the sender closes or cancels the round. Contact the sender; they can start a new round and invite you again.
Not yet as a standalone service. docreview currently runs inside partner platforms. Standalone access is on the roadmap; leave your e-mail address and we will let you know when it is ready.
Leave your details and we will get back to you personally.
